Police release name of motorcyclist who died in Dunmurry

Roads were closed for a number of hours, following the road traffic collision on Sunday, but have now reopened

Police have released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a single vehicle road traffic collision in Dunmurry, on the outskirts of Belfast.

He was 55-year-old James Kilpatrick from the Dunmurry/Finaghy area.

The collision happened on Queensway at about 07:30 GMT on Sunday.

Roads around Queensway were closed for a number of hours, but have now reopened.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash-cam footage to contact them.
