A 32-year-old man has died and another man has been seriously injured in a crash on the M4.

Wiltshire Police said both men were travelling in the same car, which left the eastbound carriageway at around 02:00 GMT on Sunday near Leigh Delamere Services, prompting a road closure between Junction 18 (Bath) and Junction 17 (Chippenham).

The force says no other vehicles were involved.

The road was closed for most of the day, but has now reopened.
