Deaths of women found in property not suspicious

The deaths of two women at a property in a Hampshire village are being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, police have said.

Officers were called to check on the welfare of two people at an address in Church Road in Warsash at about 12:30 GMT on Friday.

The bodies of two women - aged 82 and 77 - were found inside the property.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said their families had been informed of the update following post-mortem examination. A file is now being prepared for the coroner.
