Call for witnesses after man, 80s, dies in crash

A man has died and another has been seriously injured in a crash.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police was called at about 14:20 GMT on Monday to reports of a crash between a blue Kia Sportage and a white Vauxhall Vivaro on Sway Road, New Milton.

The force said the driver of the Kia, a man in his 80s from Sway, died at the scene. The driver of the van, a man in his 30s from Portsmouth, sustained serious injuries.

Police have urged anyone who may have witnessed, or who may have dashcam footage of the crash, to contact them.
