A motorcyclist has died after a collision involving a car in Bradford.

Emergency services were called at about 14:15 GMT to reports of a crash between a three-wheeled Harley Davidson motorbike and an Audi A4 car on Rooley Avenue.

The motorbike rider, a man in his 60s, received immediate medical attention but died at the scene a short time later, according to West Yorkshire Police.

The motorbike was believed to have been travelling towards the M606, while the Audi was being driving in the direction of Odsal roundabout at the time of the collision, a force spokesperson said.

The road was closed in both directions for some time on Thursday afternoon, but had since reopened, they added.

Inquiries remained ongoing and anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage was asked to get in touch with police.
