Fire crews called to large building fire in city
Tresha TurnerFire crews are at the scene of a "large building" fire in Norwich.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the building in Oak Street - believed to be the site of the former nightclub The Talk - at about 19:38 BST on Thursday.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the roof and locals have been advised to keep windows and doors shut and leave access clear while emergency crews work to contain the fire.
The service said appliances from Sprowston, Stalham, North Earlham, Carrow, Hingham, Acle and Hethersett were all in attendance.
