Appeal for 'mystery' millionaire to come forward

National Lottery players are being asked to check and double-check their tickets as a EuroMillions ticket worth £1m bought in County Tyrone has yet to be claimed.

EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw, but the winner from the draw on 24 April 2026 is yet to claim their prize.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.

The winning code for the ticket sold in County Tyrone is MBGT03608 and the ticket holder has until 21 October 2026 to claim their prize.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

"A lucky EuroMillions player is the winner of a life-changing £1,000,000 and doesn't even know it," Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at Allwyn, said.

"We are on a mission to unite our lucky winner with their million-pound prize and are asking players to check their tickets," Carter said.

"Were you in or around County Tyrone in the week leading up to the 24 April draw?

"Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through? We want to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize."

If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline on 21 October, then the prize money, along with the interest it has generated, will go towards National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
