Motorcyclist in his 50s died in crash with van

A motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a van.

Officers were called to the junction of the A145 and Cucumber Lane in Beccles at about 15:30 BST on Monday.

The crash involved a white Ford transit van and a black Yamaha motorcycle.

The male rider of the motorcycle, aged in his 50s, died from the injuries they sustained.

The road was closed while the emergency services assisted with those involved.

It reopened at about 22:45 and now police are appealing for witnesses or any information.
