Crossbow fired at Glasgow house in 'targeted attack'
GoogleA crossbow was fired at a Glasgow house on Sunday in what police believe was a targeted attack.
The incident took place at Plenshin Court, in the city's southside area, at about 19:10 following what the force called a disturbance involving a group of youths.
The weapon was then discharged towards a window, but no-one was injured.
Police said no-one had been traced despite a search taking place, and that inquiries were ongoing.
Officers said there would be an increased police presence in the area.
Det Sgt Colin Murphy added: "We believe that this was a targeted attack at this property and thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless behaviour.
"Our enquiries so far have revealed that a group of youths were involved in a disturbance in the Plenshin Court area prior to the crossbow having been discharged and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this disturbance or seen anyone making off after the crossbow was discharged."
Anyone with any details or information should contact Police Scotland.
