Two stolen pups back with mum, two still missing
Alisha ClackTwo five-week-old puppies stolen along with their mum and siblings have been found dumped on the side of a road about 100 miles (160km) from home.
Mabel, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and her four cavapoo puppies were taken from a property in Thetford Road, Coney Weston, Suffolk, on Tuesday.
Mabel was later found in a garden in Wouldham, Kent, and was reunited with her owner on Thursday. Two of the puppies were found in Sidcup, London.
The worried family who own the dogs said it was a "bittersweet" reunion because two puppies were still missing.
Alisha Clack, whose mother owns Mabel, said: "We feel so lucky that two have been reunited with Mabel, she's been completely distraught without her puppies.
"We must admit it's bittersweet because we know two are still out there, and not knowing where they are is really hard."
Ms Clack said a dog sniffed out two of the missing puppies while on a walk.
"They were soaking and freezing cold.
"They were dumped by the side of the road, near a dual carriageway. A gentleman was walking his dog and the dog found the puppies," she said.
Ms Clack said it was wonderful to see Mabel reunited with her babies as she had been "frantic", searching the whole house for them.
"She's now cuddled up with them. It's a completely different dog again, so much happier," she added.

Simone Devorty , Mabel's owner, branded the thieves "wicked and cruel".
The family have urged whoever has the puppies to "leave them somewhere safe".
Ms Clack said her family were grateful to all of the people who had shared Mabel and her puppies' story, and who had sent leads about their whereabouts.
Suffolk Police has said it believes the house was not targeted for the pets. A cream jewellery box was also taken.
