Man in his 80s dies after crash

A man in his 80s has died after being involved in a one-vehicle collision in County Antrim on Saturday afternoon.

It happened at about 14:35 GMT on the Carnbore Road near Bushmills.

Police said they attended the scene and the man, who had been driving a red Ford Kuga, was taken to hospital where he later died.

The road was closed for a time at the junction with Haw Road, but has since reopened.

Police have asked anyone with information or footage of the incident to contact them.
