Firefighters have battled a blaze at a building at Peterhead Harbour in Aberdeenshire.

The Scottish Fire and Recue Service (SFRS) said the alarm was raised on Farmer's Lane at about 17:40 on Tuesday and people were asked to avoid the area.

At the height of the blaze, seven fire appliances and a high-reach vehicle were at the scene. There were no reported casualties.

A sign-making company called Imagineering, which has been open since 2005, said it was shut because of the incident.

A post on social media on Tuesday night said: "Due to an ongoing fire at our premises we will be closed until further notice."
