Second attempted murder charge over shooting

A second man has been charged following a firearms discharge in Huddersfield in December.

Mohammed Ali Nageen, 19, of Ringwood Road, Bradford, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.

Nathaniel Collins, 19, of St Paul's Road, Manningham, was previously charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in connection with the same incident.

The incident, which took place on Smiths Avenue in the Marsh area of Huddersfield, left a man in his 30s seriously injured after he was shot in the leg and shoulder.
