Man pleads guilty to fatal attack at football club
Hertfordshire ConstabularyA man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter after his victim died following a charity event at a football club.
Jack Oliver Frogell, known as Olly, was injured at Hemel Hempstead Town FC in the early hours of Saturday, 25 October.
The 48-year-old died 10 days later, on 4 November, Hertfordshire Police said.
David Lewis, 38, of Fennycroft Road, Hemel Hempstead, admitted the offence at Luton Crown Court on Thursday.
He will return to court for sentencing on 25 March.
In a tribute to her husband, Lisa Frogell said: "Our beloved Olly, loved by so many... was truly the most wonderful dad and loving husband but also the heart of our community.
"This has left us with a huge void in our lives that can never be filled."
