Second man arrested after driveway shooting
GoogleA second man has been arrested after a shooting on a driveway on Merseyside.
Police found a man had been shot in the leg twice by two men on a Sur-Ron bike at an address on Radway Road, Huyton, on the evening of 28 November.
After he was taken to hospital, officers arrested a 31-year-old man from Nottingham on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm, before he was conditionally bailed, Merseyside Police said.
On Wednesday, a 35-year-old man from Allerton, Liverpool, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, wounding, criminal damage and possession of cannabis, before he was also bailed.
Merseyside Police said it was continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Det Insp Chris Clark said: "What you know could still prove vital in bringing those responsible to justice, and please do not assume that we already hold this information."
The force said it would continue to provide a "visible and proactive" police presence.
