West Midlands Police targeted the drugs line known as the K Line with early morning warrants in Wolverhampton

Four people have been arrested after police executed early-morning warrants at addresses in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police said officers from its county lines taskforce targeted a supply known as the K Line and carried out raids on Thursday at properties in Horseley Fields, Tettenhall and Wednesfield.

A substantial amount of what was believed to be heroin and crack cocaine was seized and a quantity of cash was also recovered. These would be forensically examined as investigators continue with inquiries, the force said.

Two men aged 30, one aged 29, and a woman aged 28, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.

They remained in police cells overnight.
