Four men plead guilty to kidnapping man

A 21-year-old man was taken from a house in Telford in December, police said

Four men have admitted kidnapping another man from a home.

The 21-year-old victim suffered several injuries in the ordeal when he was taken from the address in Telford, Shropshire, on 29 December, police said.

Two other men each denied a charge of kidnap in the same case at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Thursday and were told they would go on trial on 1 June.

All six men were remanded into custody, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said.

The four who each pleaded guilty to a charge of kidnap were:

  • Shayyan Hussain, 24, of John Broad Avenue, Arleson
  • Jawad Hussain, 20, of Windsor Road, Arleson
  • Faheem Chohan, 23, of Windsor Road, Arleson
  • Ehteshan Hussain, 22, of John Broad Avenue, Arleson

The two who both pleaded not guilty to a charge of kidnap were:

  • Haider Ali, 22, of Mongomery Road, Wellington
  • Shariq Raza, 20, of Span Meadow, Wellington
