Jersey Barclays branch to close temporarily
BBCBarclays customers will be unable to deposit cash in Jersey for a week this summer, as the bank's only branch in the island is due to close for "essential work".
The ATMs at the site, on Library Place in St Helier, will also be out of service while work to "improve the experience and functionality within the branch" was being carried out, the bank said.
In a message to customers, Barclays said the branch would be closed from Thursday 4 June and reopen on Friday 12 June.
It said customers would still be able to use alternative ATMs, or get cash-back from "participating outlets" while the refurbishment work was ongoing.
Online and phone banking services would be available as usual, the bank added.
