Three people arrested as murder probe launched

Lincolnshire Police has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a body in Clifton Street, Lincoln

Officers are continuing to investigate after three people were arrested on suspicion of murder in Lincoln, police said.

Lincolnshire Police said officers were called to Clifton Street just before 10:30 BST on Sunday following the discovery of a man's body.

Emergency services confirmed the man had died sometime earlier, the force added.

Two men, aged 33 and 50, and a 54-year-old woman were arrested on Sunday.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing and the forcewould like to hear from anyone who was in the area between 16:00 on Saturday and 10.20 on Sunday and heard or saw anything they believe may be related.

The force said it was also keen to hear from any drivers or road users who travelled along Kesteven Street or into Clifton Street during those times and has recorded video footage of their journey.
