A man has admitted causing the death of a 70-year-old woman in a crash in East Yorkshire.

Susan Whittles died after the red Volkswagen T-Roc she was driving was involved in a collision with a grey Audi A6 at a crossroads junction on the B1253 near Rudston just before 15:00 GMT on 24 November 2023.

On Monday, as he was due to stand trial, Timothy Kusemi, 41, of Lower Bedfords Road, Romford, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

A sentencing date has been set for 13 March at Hull Crown Court.
