A marketing push is being rolled out to bring more visitors to Jersey.

Visit Jersey has said the campaign will start on 26 December and target people living near key airports and ferry ports in the UK, highlighting how easy it is to reach Jersey and how much there is to enjoy.

The tourism promoter said it would run posters in busy commuter spots such as train stations and the London Underground and social media would also feature heavily.

The new approach aimed to challenge "outdated perceptions" that Jersey lacks things to do, it said.

Promotions will spotlight the island's outdoor adventures, rich history and culture, and its growing food scene.

The focus remained on UK visitors, but there were plans to extend the campaign into France and Germany through partnerships with airlines and tour operators, it said.

It comes as latest figures for all tourists, for the year up to October, showed 424,400 people had visited the island - 93,300 fewer than the same period in 2024.
