Man charged over nightclub bomb threat
BBCA man has been charged under terrorism laws following a bomb threat that led to a nightclub being evacuated.
The incident took place at Folies nightclub in St Peter Port, Guernsey, shortly before 02:00 BST on Sunday with staff and revellers leaving the building.
Guernsey Police said a 33-year-old man had been charged with bomb hoaxes, an offence under Section 74 of the Terrorism and Crime (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2002. He has been bailed and is due to appear at the Magistrates' Court on 18 May.
The force added no other suspects were being sought over the incident and urged anyone with information to contact investigating officers.
