Volunteers needed to help marathon run safely
BBCThe organisers of Jersey Marathon are appealing for volunteers to help at the event.
They are seeking 40 people to be course marshals on 5 October.
Race organisers said volunteers were needed to spend between two and six hours on the course to help make the marathon a "safe and successful event".
This year's event will be the 20th Jersey Marathon. Organisers expect more than 2,500 participants, with 40% of runners travelling from outside the island.
