Man left with face and head injuries after attack

A man was taken to hospital with face and head injuries after being attacked in a high street in Kent, police have said.

Emergency services were called to Rochester High Street at about 23:20 GMT on Friday after receiving a report that a man had been assaulted.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, police said.

No arrests have been made, and inquiries are ongoing into the incident.
