Lily Allen makes surprise visit to record shop in local market
James WillicombeSinger Lily Allen has been spotted browsing records in Cardiff Market after performing in the city.
The star played the New Theatre on Wednesday night before visiting a local record store the following day.
James Willicombe, 26, from Cardiff, who works at Kelly's records said: "I was behind the counter and I was like, 'That's Lily Allen!"
She was seen looking through records with her daughter, including albums by Oasis, Wet Leg and The Smiths.

Willicombe said he recognised her straight away as she came into the store with her family and team.
"She was browsing the records with her daughter and picked up a few", which included albums from Oasis, The Smiths and Wet Leg.
"When she came to pay I told her I'm a big fan and said how jealous my girlfriend was gonna be that I had met her." he added.
Willicombe said they even joked about missing out on tickets to her Cardiff show, that sold out quickly.
"I tried to ring my girlfriend when Lily was in the store but she was busy.
"Her dad suggested I take a photo with Lily to make my girlfriend jealous", which they did.
He added that as she was leaving, her father returned to the shop with a programme from the show as a gift.
Lily Allen isn't the first famous face to visit Kelly's, as Idles front man Joe Talbot from Newport has previously popped in.
"Joe was on his own when he came in so we had a really nice conversation about the times I've been to see Idles perform."
Willicombe said Cardiff's laid-back atmosphere meant celebrities could often explore the city without much attention.
"Big stars come to Cardiff and do walk through the city.
"It's pretty low key and they can enjoy browsing the store.
The visit comes as Lily Allen tours the UK in support of her comeback to music, with the album West End Girl.
