Group use baseball bats to break into shop

The front window of a barber shop was smashed and equipment inside was damaged before cash was stolen

A group that smashed their way into a shop using baseball bats stole cash before fleeing.

Norfolk Police was called to a barber shop in Church Street, Attleborough, at about 01:45 GMT on Monday.

Officers said six people smashed the front window before going inside, where they caused further damage.

Police also attended an attempted burglary at a shop in nearby Queens Square at about 04:40 GMT and are investigating whether the incidents are connected.

No arrests have been made.
