Police found the boxes of medicines during a search of a car on Saturday

Almost £5,000 of suspected stolen tablets and medicines were found during a police search of a car.

Officers found three large bin bags full of over-the-counter medicinal products after they stopped a vehicle in Arno Vale Road, Arnold, at about 18:50 GMT on Saturday.

Two men, 28 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of theft from a shop.

Both men have since been bailed while investigations continue, according to Nottinghamshire Police.
