Traffic at a charity event held at the home of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, will be "safely managed", organisers say, after visitors experienced hours long queues last year.

The Middlewick House Open Garden event will take place near Corsham from 6 to 7 June, in aid of Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust.

To avoid traffic problems, the team said entry will only be given to those who purchase tickets and car park passes in advance.

Jennie Shaw, director of The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, said they appreciate everyone's "understanding and cooperation" in helping to deliver a "safe and enjoyable" experience.

Shaw said: "Middlewick House Open Garden gets bigger and bigger each year, with people travelling from across the UK and the world to attend."

Organisers said the traffic at this year's event will be safely managed

More than 15,000 people attended last year which put a huge strain on the roads around Corsham and parking at the house.

Organisers said the event, which has been running since 2013 and has become the biggest fundraiser of its kind in the region, generated a record £200,000 in 2025.

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity chief executive Barbara Gray thanked the organisers for hosting the event again.

"We hope the changes that have been made will make everyone's experience of Middlewick House Open Garden 2026 even better than ever before," she said.

The fundraiser will run from 6 to 7 June from 10:00-16:30 BST.
