A Porsche sustained significant damage after it crashed into a lamp-post in Ipswich.

The vehicle was discovered on St Matthew's Street at the junction of Clarkson Street in the early hours.

Suffolk Police were said to have arrived on scene shortly after 06:00 GMT.

The force has been contacted for further details.
