Outdoor water park closes a week after reopening

An outdoor water park has closed a week after it reopened for the summer season.

Bretton Water Park in Barnstock, Peterborough was due to reopen on 9 July, however, this was delayed until 23 July.

Vivacity, which manages the facility, said on social media that the pool would need to close for the rest of the week due to a fault with the water pump.

It said: "Due to an issue with the water pump, Bretton Water Park will unfortunately not be opening for the rest of this week."

The company apologised for any "inconvenience caused".
