Two arrested in murder inquiry after man found dead

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found dead in Ipswich

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead at a property.

Suffolk Police said it was called at 11:37 GMT on Tuesday to reports that a man had died at an address in College Street, Ipswich.

The East of England Ambulance Service attended the premises but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man, 38, and woman, 41, were arrested at the property on suspicion of murder and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where they remain.

The force added it believed the three people were known to each other and officers were not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.

A Home Office post-mortem examination will take place in due course, it added.
