Partial closure of road after car hits traffic lights

Suffolk Police said no arrests have been made

Part of a road in a town was closed after a car hit a central reservation and a set of traffic lights.

The crash happened on Valley Road, Ipswich, at the double roundabout at 03:51 GMT on Friday, Suffolk Police said.

The collision caused live cables to be exposed and the road was reopened by 06:10.

The occupants of the car had left the scene and no arrests have been made, the force added.
