Longbow and arrows seized from man in street

Police have seized a longbow, arrows and two pocket knives from a man spotted in a town in Cornwall, say officers.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they were called to Market Jew Street in Penzance, at 09:15 BST on Wednesday.

The man "handed over the bow and said that he had planned to go hunting in nearby woodland", said the force.

Enquiries are ongoing.
