Two dead after car leaves road in crash

Two people have been killed when a car came off a road and crashed.

Kent Police were called to the scene in Iwade at about 20:30 GMT on Saturday after reports a vehicle had left Old Ferry Road.

Two people in the blue Ford Fiesta were later declared dead. A third was taken to hospital.

The road between the junctions with Raspberry Hill Lane and Sheppey Way remains closed while the police investigation continues.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
