Firefighters have been tackling a blaze in a children's nursery that broke out in the early hours.

Tigers Day Nurseries - for children aged from three months to five years - said it would be shut on Tuesday and staff would be in touch "with our families as soon as we have news".

The fire service said at its height, crews from five Berkshire stations, a crew from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, an aerial ladder platform and an off‑road water carrier were sent to the fire.
