No-one was onboard the boat when it sank

A work boat has sunk in the Sound of Kerrera near Oban.

HM Coastguard and RNLI Oban lifeboat were alerted to the vessel at about 07:30 after it started sinking.

No-one was onboard at the time, but rescue teams have been clearing debris and checking for pollution.

Stornoway Coastguard, which coordinated the response, said it was working with the owner on the recovery of the boat.
