Sketch released after alleged sexual assault

Detectives have released an artist's impression of a man as part of an investigation into what they describe as a serious sexual assault.

Cambridgeshire Police said a woman in her 20s was attacked in Mill Lane, Little Paxton, near St Neots, between 21:00 and 21:30 BST on 27 August.

The suspect was described as being a white male with a pale complexion and short dark hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and white trainers. Police said no arrests had been made.

"I am asking the public to carefully look at the drawing and consider whether they recognise the person depicted," said Det Con James Howard.

"The victim has shown considerable courage in assisting our investigation and has worked with a forensic artist to produce this image."

Officers have asked for anyone who was in the area, has CCTV or dashcam footage, or recognises the individual, to contact the force.

They also asked to hear from anyone who saw a dark Tesla in the vicinity of Mill Lane at the time.
