Repairs are being carried out at a shopping centre after plasterboard collapsed on to a row of shops.

TSB Bank and Second Cup Coffee remain cordoned off after large amounts of debris fell onto the pavement on Saturday, posing a risk to safety.

Swindon Borough Council said the owner of the shopping area was arranging for repairs to be made by its contractor.

Shoppers were being urged to "take extra care" after the incident which saw fire crews also deployed to the scene.
