Police say 55-year-old Ian Jackson-Winch's death is being treated as murder

Police have released the name of a man who they believe was stabbed to death at a property in Grantham on Monday.

Lincolnshire Police said the death of Ian Jackson-Winch, 55, was being treated as murder.

Police and paramedics were called at about 23:12 GMT on Monday to Greyfriars, where he was found with serious injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.

A 55-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody. The force said it had since arrested another man, aged 43, also on suspicion of murder.

A police spokesperson said: "This remains an active investigation, and we strongly advise the public not to speculate, as doing so could compromise the integrity of our investigation.

"Further updates will be issued when available."
