Man arrested after 'suspicious' death

A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the "unexpected but suspicious" death of a man at a property in Lincolnshire, police have said.

Police and paramedics were called to Greyfriars in Grantham at about 23:12 GMT on Monday.

Lincolnshire Police said the man was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force added that investigators would remain at the site "for some time".

Detectives are asking for witnesses and information from people who "heard any disturbances or saw anything suspicious in the Greyfriars area" on Monday night.

They are also appealing for doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage.
