Plans for 85 homes to be built next to a cinema complex have been recommended for approval by planners.

Proposals to build 34 houses and 51 flats next to Guernsey's Mallard Cinema in the Forest will be considered by politicians at an open planning meeting.

The meeting will take place on 15 December at Beau Sejour.

It will allow people who submitted views for or against the proposal to present their case publicly.
