Woman admits killing man and teenager in crash

A woman has admitted killing a man and a teenager in a car crash.

Harrison Carter, 18, and George Stephenson, 17, died following a collision involving two vehicles in the village of Marston in June 2025.

Madeleine Lonsdale, 18, indicated two guilty pleas to causing the teenagers' deaths by driving without due care and attention in a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

She was released on bail and will be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on 13 March.

Lonsdale, of Squires View, Long Bennington, was also given an an interim driving ban.

The two victims - pupils of King's School in Grantham - were passengers in one of the cars, police said.
