Human remains have been found by police investigating the suspected murder of a Polish man who went missing five years ago.

Andrzej Mucha, from Greystoke Road in Slough, was 57 when he was last seen in November 2021.

Det Supt Andy Howard of Thames Valley Police said officers made the discovery while helping Polish law enforcement with searches in a field on Grays Park Road, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.

He added: "Formal identification as well as a post mortem to try and ascertain the cause of death will be carried out in due course."

Mucha was classified as a missing person until April 2022 when police started a murder investigation following his unexplained disappearance.

In November two men were extradited to Poland to face trial over his disappearance.
