Three people have been arrested after a woman was stabbed in Worcester

Three people have been arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a stabbing in Worcestershire.

Police officers were deployed to the scene at Cranham Drive in Worcester at about 17:45 BST on Monday.

The victim, who suffered multiple stab wounds, has since been discharged from hospital, West Mercia Police said.

A 21-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man have since been arrested in connection with the attack.

Officers said the 21-year-old and the 22-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of assault, possession with intent to supply a class A drug, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Meanwhile, the the 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply, and assisting an offender.

All three are in police custody, the force added.
