A new survey has been launched to find out opinions on the possible implementation of a minimum wage in Alderney.

The Policy and Finance Commitee (P&F) said it would like businesses and residents to share their views to help shape future policy decisions.

Jeannie Cameron, chair of P&F, said it was "essential" any decisions made were "informed by clear, objective evidence".

She said the survey represented an "important step" to understand how a minimum wage could affect Alderney.

The survey is set to close on 9 February.

It will be accessible on the States of Alderney website, or hard copies could be sought from the General Office, officials said.
