Scotland's Christmas Home of the Year finalists revealed
Kirsty AndersonScotland's Christmas Home of the Year is back, with five new festive homes hoping to win the title.
The judges of the Christmas version of Scotland's Home of the Year have visited homes in Peterhead, Edinburgh, Millport, Burntisland and Cumnock.
Interior designers Anna Campbell-Jones, Banjo Beale and architect Danny Campbell will mark the homes on their distinctive festive design, seasonal style and Christmas spirit.
The winner will be announced on on BBC One Scotland on Monday.
Holly Jolly Mouse House, near Cumnock

Kirsty AndersonChristmas is the highlight of the year for Holly Jolly Mouse House owners Ellenor, Gary and their two cats, Mia and Kimba.
The decorations are planned months in advance and this year the theme is 'Mouseland', with a miniature mouse ski slope in the hall.
The home also has a Grinch themed bedroom and a Snowman piñata in the garden.
For Ellenor and Gary, Christmas is about making sure their home is full of festive fun.
Townhouse of Treasures, Edinburgh

IWC MediaHomeowner Miranda loves to entertain and tries to make sure that the Townhouse of Treasures is a magical place for her children to enjoy.
She has added new decorations to her collection every year – some of which are vintage - and she now has twenty boxes of decorations in her attic.
Miranda's objective is to bring Christmas cheer to everyone through her theatrical festive style.
North Star Steading, Peterhead

IWC MediaChristmas means so much to North Star Steading's homeowners Pamela and Gordon that they even named their daughter, Eve, after it.
Pamela begins decorating the house in October to achieve a mix of traditional and modern festive charm in every room.
She's been collecting decorations for years, even gathering some from Santa's home in Lapland.
Sugar Plum Loft, Burntisland

IWC MediaArt teacher Emily's flat might be small but, when it comes to Christmas, the Sugar Plum Loft is big and bold, with a retro and quirky style.
Inspired by her parents, the Burntisland flat is full of homemade decorations to add a personal touch.
Always thinking about creative ways to decorate, Emily wants to prove that living alone doesn't mean you can't go big at Christmas time.
Pink Island Palace, Millport

IWC MediaKady and Steven's home on Millport is known across the island for its bright design.
Throughout the Pink Island Palace there are giant nutcrackers, lots of lights, disco candy canes and sequinned reindeers.
There are also some sentimental decorations, including advent calendars made out of their daughter's baby clothes and decorations given to them on their wedding day.
IWCAnna Campbell-Jones, Banjo Beale and Danny Campbell have returned to judge this competition.
"What I'm looking for in a Christmas home is that genuine feeling, that's heartfelt, joyful and maybe have a little bit of razzle dazzle," says Banjo.
Danny adds: "What I'm looking for in a Christmas home is a really deliberate effort to create an atmosphere where the perfect family moments can exist."
Anna says: "I'm looking to be surprised by new ideas but also by those well-worn traditions that are brought out every year and really warm your soul."
Scotland's Christmas Home of the Year 2025 is on BBC One Scotland on Monday 15 December at 20:00.
