The East Coast Main Line works will affect LNER services

There will be no LNER trains between London King's Cross and Peterborough on Sunday due to digital signalling upgrades on the East Coast Main Line by Network Rail.

As a result, East Midlands Railway (EMR) services to and from St Pancras are expected to be busier than usual with customers advised to travel on the days either side.

Philippa Cresswell, EMR's customer experience director, said: "Our London services are expected to be extremely busy on Sunday and customers should allow extra time, particularly at St Pancras, where a queuing system will be in place."

Elsewhere, the Circle line is closed all weekend and there will be no Metropolitan line trains between Baker Street and Aldgate.

Elizabeth line services between Stratford and Shenfield will not operate on Saturday or Sunday and there will also be no Greater Anglia services between Liverpool Street and Shenfield.

On London Overground, the Liberty line is closed entirely while the Mildmay line is partially closed on Saturday and operating a reduced service between Clapham Junction and Shepherd's Bush until noon on Sunday.
