A body has been found following a fire that broke out at a disused factory in Birmingham.

Firefighters were called to the building in Barr Street in Hockley, just before 08:00 BST on Sunday.

Crews discovered the body, West Midlands Police said, and fire and police officers were now working to establish the cause of the blaze and full circumstances.

West Midlands Fire Service said 12 crews went to the three-story building, where the third floor and roof were alight, and the cause of the fire was not yet known.
