Thames Valley Police confirmed the man has been charged with rape

A man has been charged with rape after an alleged attack in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police said a rape was reported in Banbury on Monday 11 August.

James Doran, 23, from Kidlington, is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Friday 19 September.

He has been remanded in custody.
