A woman has been summoned to court after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Lincolnshire.

Gary Skellett, 61, died after a collision with a car on the A6121, Witham on the Hill, near Bourne, at about 12:00 GMT on 9 March 2025.

Lucy Bentley, 35, of Begy Gardens, Greetham, is accused of causing death by careless driving, Lincolnshire Police said.

Bentley is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 26 March.

Skellett's family paid tribute to him after his death and described him as a "gentle soul with a generous heart, always ready to help anyone in need".

They said he was a "beloved" grandad, brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law and, above all, "the most cherished dad".
